About

The Dayton Dance Conservatory Company is a non-profit 501(c)3 pre-professional youth dance company committed to creating young ambassadors of dance who will continue to proliferate and sustain the art of dance in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Our mission is to cultivate young aspiring professional dancers and instill the value of performing arts within the community to develop and identify various performance and community outreach opportunities to educate dancers by expanding and collaborating on repertoire which challenges technique, artistic depth, and creativity; to inform dancers of the historic impact of dance and the significance of continuing oral and visual traditions.

In June of 2023, the group formerly known as Dayton Dance Conservatory Ensemble merged with Dayton Dance Conservatory Company and is now called Dayton Dance Conservatory Company Competition Team (DDCC-CT). This group features dancers ages 7 and up and will compete at various competitions throughout the year. While their focus is on competitions, they also have other performance opportunities such as a winter showcase and other community events.
