Art & Movement for All

An inclusive dance program that will provide children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to futher develop social, emotional and physical skills in a safe environment through the discipline of dance.

Program Details

• FREE program open to children with physical or developmental disabilities, ages 7 to 12
• Class meets 1 time per wieek on Monday evenings, 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm
• Located at the Dayton Dance Conservatory:
  7762 Waynetowne Blvd. Dayton, OH 45424
• Classes run August 30, 2021 – June 6, 2022
• Dancers will have three performance opportunities

Through movement and rythem activities led by a licensed Intervention Specialist with the help of peer mentors, children will work on:

• Gross & fine motor skills
• Body control & awareness
• Strength & flexibility
• Social skills
• Coordination
• Memory & recall skills
